The most important one of all, is the chocolate. That's why you should pick a type that you like and that melts well.
For this recipe, I use bitter dark chocolate which reduces the overall brownie sweetness.
If you prefer to use sweet dark chocolate or milk chocolate, the brownie will inevitably taste sweeter.
Before you start mixing the ingredients, make sure they are all at room temperature. The melted butter for instance shouldn't be too hot.
If you prefer an extra fudgy brownie, then you shouldn't bake it too long. After 15 minutes in the oven, you can take it out.

A cake pan
150 g melted butter
130 g sugar
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 pinch salt
100 g cake flour
25 g cocoa powder
200 g melted chocolate
1 tsp espresso powder
Whisk together the melted butter and sugar. Add the eggs and whisk.
Add the vanilla extract, the salt and flour and mix well.
Add in the cocoa powder and espresso powder and mix.
Add the melted chocolate and mix.
Grease the cake pan and cover it with parchment paper to avoid sticking. Put the brownie batter in the pan.
Preheat the oven at 180 ° C and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
