Matcha cookies

If you're as crazy about matcha as I am, you are in for a treat. Here's a whole new recipe for the yummiest matcha cookies. The best part: these are so easy to make and can actually be frozen and then baked whenever necessary.

So here you go, treat yourself to some matcha cookies !

  • 200 g flour (2 cups)

  • 150 g melted butter (3/4 cup)

  • 1 egg

  • 7 g baking powder (1/2 tbsp)

  • 130 g sugar brown (3/4 cup)

  • Pinch of salt

  • 10 g matcha (1 tbsp)

  • 50 g macadamia (1/2 cup)

  • 50 g white choc (1/3 cup)

How To
  • Mix the melted butter with the brown sugar. Add the egg and whisk together.

  • Add the matha powder, flour, baking powder and salt and mix until fully incorporated.

  • Add the white chocolate and the macademia nuts and mix.

  • Once the dough is ready, make medium balls ( 50 g approx.).

  • Freeze the dough balls for at least 30 min.

  • Preheat the oven at 180° C/360F and bake for 10 - 13 min.
